- Verify customer complaint and vehicle's performance. Scan computer system for codes using a scanner & diagnostic analyzer. Check sensor operation. If codes are present in computer system record codes. Advise of any additional inspection services needed. Visually inspect engine performance parts for damage or excessive wear. Check and advise of any needed or recommended repairs. no lights illuminated on instrument panel at this time scanned system for trouble codes no codes found in any module road tested 11 miles vehicle operating as designed no lack of power or drive ability concerns noticed at this time check engine light did not illuminate on road test alternator output inconclusive due to battery failed load test and tested 54% state of health battery terminals heavily corroded positive terminal needs replacement negative terminal can be cleaned .replaced battery and road tested again another 12 miles no bogging or loss of power no codes all monitors ran and passed if concern happens again do not disconnect battery additional diagnosis at additional cost will need to be performed
- alternator output okay tested 14.0 volts unable to set clock buttons stuck and screen damaged
- remove and replace positive battery terminal
- Oil Change w/Synthetic Oil, includes 5 quarts of Synthetic 0w20, variations in Grades may be additional, Additional cost for each quantity in excess of 5 quarts will be added to your bill after filling the vehicle to manufactured specifications.
