- Verify customer complaint and vehicle's performance. Scan computer system for codes using a scanner & diagnostic analyzer. Check sensor operation. If codes are present in computer system record codes. Advise of any additional inspection services needed. Visually inspect engine performance parts for damage or excessive wear. Check and advise of any needed or recommended repairs. Scan for codes DTC P0456 Evaporative System Leak Detected (very small leak). Smoke test evap system no external leaks found. Test evap system components and found evap purge solenoid leaking vacuum when valve should be closed. Recommend replacing evap purge solenoid.
- PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID – Remove & Replace – V6
- ENGINE OIL COOLER – Remove & Replace – V6 w/Oil Filter Housing – [Includes: R&I Intake Manifold Gaskets. Includes:Drain and refill Low Temperature Cooling System. Serviced as an Assembly.]
- Inspect condition of hoses and clamps. Exchange coolant and replace with new fluid. Check thermostat and electric cooling fan operation.
