- tested power to brake light switch found no power to switch checked fuse in ipc fuse panel found fuse to be blown , replaced fuse and re checekd power in and out of brake light switch and shift interlock checked operation of brake lights all operating as designed inspected brake light bulbs and sockets no melting or damage found no chaffing of wires found both brake light bulbs to have dark discoloration so replaced both bulbs while apart removed third brake light led assembly inspected wiring no damage found road tested 10 miles vehicle operating as designed possible intermittent short somewhere in system or brake light switch system functioning as designed after fuse replacement
