- duplicated noise isolated noise to lower steering column area removed knee bolster to isolate further verified noise coming from lower steering column near electric steering motor removed steering column and further inspection found steering column to be okay noise from steering bushings to steering motor replaced steering bushings and re installed steering column road tested no further noise found from steering column at this time
