- Verify customer complaint and vehicle's performance. Scan computer system for codes using a scanner & diagnostic analyzer. Check sensor operation. If codes are present in computer system record codes. Advise of any additional inspection services needed. Visually inspect engine performance parts for damage or excessive wear. Check and advise of any needed or recommended repairs. scanned system for trouble codes found p0335 crankshaft position sensor fault detected tested wiring to sensor and monitored data with scan tool found wiring to test okay and sensor to intermittently drop signal tested battery after full charge found battery to test replace replaced battery and crank shaft position sensor and re checked system operating as designed at this time
